When you arrive, I'll review your natural lips, talk through the result you're looking for, and answer any questions you have before we begin.

Map + Customize
I'll map your shape and customize a pigment direction around your natural lips and desired result before the procedure starts.

Relax Into Your Service
Your lip blush appointment takes approximately 2 to 3 hours. I use numbing throughout, and we can take breaks whenever you need them.

Aftercare + Healing
I'll send you home with clear aftercare guidance so you know exactly what to expect as your color heals and settles.
HEALING
What healing looks like.
Your lips will change throughout the healing process. Color can look stronger at first, become lighter as the surface heals, and then settle gradually over the following weeks.
First 48 Hours
Your lips may look brighter or darker than expected and can feel swollen, tight, or dry. This is part of the early healing phase.
Days 3 to 7
Flaking and surface healing begin. The color may look much lighter during this stage before it starts settling back in.
Weeks 4 to 6
Your color becomes more settled and I can evaluate how the pigment retained once the healing process is further along.
Healing and pigment retention vary from person to person.
TOUCH-UPS
Your finishing touch.
Once your lips have had time to heal and the color has settled, I can review how your pigment retained and help determine when a touch-up would help refine the result.

6-week touch-up
For existing Velora Beauty lip blush clients.
A touch-up may help:
- Refine areas that healed lighter
- Reinforce pigment where needed
- Review the overall balance of your healed result
Touch-up timing is based on how your lips have healed.

Lip blush is a fit for many clients, but there are a few situations I should review with you first.
Talk with me first if you:
Previous Lip Work
You have existing or previous lip tattooing.
Recent Lip Filler
You recently had filler and have not completed the recommended waiting period.
Healing Considerations
You have a history of cold sores or medication, allergy, or health considerations that may affect healing.
Lip Pigmentation
You have significant hyperpigmentation or believe your lips may require neutralization.
Fresh lip filler requires at least a 3-week wait before lip blush. I do not currently offer lip neutralization.
